The WBL Sparks is a team that competes annually in the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament in Cooperstown, NY. Compiled from many of the best players of the world, the WBL Sparks are the only girls’ team to compete amongst the 1000 teams that attend CDP each summer. 2009, will be the 7th appearance for the Sparks. The team will compete July 17-23, 2009. Eligible players must be 12 as of May 1, 2009. 
The Sparks are the only girls team to ever compete at the prestigious Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament. The Sparks are featured in their own documentary, in dozens of media outlets, and are annual guests of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Alumni include 3 Team USA members, high school players, and international club competitors. In the past players have traveled from across the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Indonesia, and Australia to be a part of the team.
